“Give Melissa a Hand”
One of the objects of the Amanda Young Foundation is to support survivors and the families of victims of Meningococcal disease.
The Foundation agreed in 2008 to fund the cost of a state of the art "I Hand " for a survivor of Meningococcal disease who lost both hands and feet to the disease.
Melissa was succesfully fitted with her I Hand in May 2009.
